LITTLE RIVER AND SURROUNDING BANKS PENINSULA

Banks Peninsula’s dramatic volcanic landscape provides the perfect backdrop to Phytofarms’s gentle, 12 hectare location in Okuti Valley, Little River near Christchurch in the South Island of New Zealand.

The area features native bush walks, a local art gallery, cafe and a cycle track along the old rail track from Christchurch to Little River, which provides spectacular views of the Southern Alps and the wetlands of Lake Ellesmere and Forsyth.

Okuti Valley is picturesque and sheltered with a native bush reserve, bowling & croquet club and several natural health practitioners. A variety of accommodation is available in Little River & Banks Peninsula.

• Phytofarm is a 45 minute drive from Christchurch
• Travel on Highway 75 to Akaora, past the beautiful wetlands of Lake Ellesmere & Lake Forsyth
• Pass the Little River hotel. Turn right at the large sign Okuti Valley and Southern Bays
• Cross the one-lane bridge and follow the road for about 2km
• Turn left into Okuti Valley Road, go along the flat for about 2km
• Second property on the right after one lane bridge
• Phytofarm is on the right (just before the Bowling Green)
